Center Stage Theatre is a semi-professional, general admission community theatre with a mission of achieving artistic excellence while serving our community. Thirty-five years ago, Center Stage began humbly in a small converted auto-body shop. With the support of our community, a theatre was built in 1989 with aspirations to further the arts on the Gulf Coast. We are the only theatre on the Gulf Coast with a full-time Artistic Director. Our year includes four regular season shows with comedies, dramas, and musicals, a summer fundraiser (usually a large-scale musical), two children’s theatre productions (for ages 5 – 18), a yearly acting workshop called Stage Stars in June (for ages 5 – 18), and audience building evenings called Saturday Night at Center Stage or “SNACS”. Center Stage is also home to the Acting Anonymous Teen Troupe (AA). This group of teens performs regularly in the community and prepares a competition piece each year that they take to MTA’s High School Drama Festival.
Center Stage Theatre offers several different sponsorship packages and advertising opportunities. Please note that by purchasing a sponsorship package, your company is eligible for a tax deductible write off for the amount donated as we are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.
